Inspection:

Since the surface of the hot rolled steel is critical to any application, we have dedicated surface inspection systems to ensure top quality.These include :

• Online Surface Inspection System (SIS): The system inspects coils during processing and helps detect the surface quality correctly. This improves accuracy andreducesdecision-makingtime.

• Manual Inspection – Certain grades of coils which are used for specialised operations and have extreme critical surface requirements are uncoiled and manually inspectedfor anydefects.*
